By accessing pinmyroute, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. User Content
You retain ownership of the routes and photos you post. However, by sharing content, you grant pinmyroute a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content to facilitate community discovery.
3. Responsibility and Safety
- Travel at Your Own Risk: pinmyroute provides user-generated routes. We do not verify the safety or accessibility of these paths. Users are responsible for their own safety and local law compliance.
- Responsible Tourism: Users are expected to respect local cultures, private property, and environmental regulations while following any route.
4. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use pinmyroute for:
- Harassment or sharing of illegal content.
- Scraping data or interfering with platform integrity.
- Misrepresenting locations or providing intentionally dangerous guidance.
5. Limitation of Liability
pinmyroute is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on community-generated travel information.
Community Guidelines
pinmyroute is built on authenticity and responsible exploration. To maintain a healthy ecosystem, all members must adhere to these standards:
1. Be Authentic
Share real experiences. Do not post "ghost" routes or destinations you haven't visited. Authentic insights help fellow travelers the most.
2. Respect Local Communities
Our platform focuses on responsible tourism. Do not pin routes that:
- Trespass on private property.
- Disturb sensitive ecological sites.
- Disrespect local customs or religious sites.
3. Safety First
If a route involves specific hazards (e.g., seasonal flooding, steep terrain), clearly state this in your description. Never encourage others to take unnecessary risks.
Data Deletion
This section explains how users can request the deletion of their account and personal data from pinmyroute, in accordance with our privacy practices and applicable platform policies.
User Data Deletion Instructions
All users of pinmyroute have the right to request the deletion of their account and personal data, regardless of the sign-up or login method used (email, Google, Facebook, or other supported providers).
- In-App Deletion: Log in to your account and navigate to Profile > Setting. Click the Delete Account option to initiate the deletion process.
- Grace Period: After requesting deletion, your account will be deactivated and hidden from public access. Your data will be retained for a 30-day grace period to allow account recovery if the request was made in error.
- Permanent Removal: Once the grace period expires, your personal data (such as name, email address, and linked authentication identifiers) will be permanently deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data retention policies.
